Services

Designed to prepare young stylists for industry experiences, this course is equipped with fundamental theories and advanced & intensive practical training. Students are also given the opportunity to experience being a Salon Apprentice at professional salons at the end of the course.

All training or discussion will be conducted in small groups for which the instructors would be able to focus and be attentive to each student’s learning progress. During the course, students will be introduced to the primary elements and techniques of hairdressing - Hair Wash, Blow-Dry, Cut, Colour, Perm, etc.

This course not only consists of all the basic knowledge and advanced skills of a qualified hairstylist but also provides a pathway to being a professional hairdresser with exceptional soft skills.

Other topics include Salon Management, Professional Ethics, Effective Customer Service & Communication Skills, etc.

Course Outline
Our Diploma in Hairdressing course is divided into 4 semesters (8 weeks each) as shown below:

Semester 1 Hairdressers' Philosophy Introduction to Hair Appliance The Structure of Hair, Skin, & Scalp Shampooing Techniques Hair Sectioning Blow-Drying, Styling, and Setting Techniques, etc.	Semester 2 Advanced & Fashionable Hairstyles (Including Rebonding & Perm) Basic Colour Theory, Formulas & Application Techniques Highlights & Bleaching Techniques Necessary Styling Techniques Client Consultation, etc.
Semester 3 Basic Cutting Techniques Transformation from Basic/ Classic Cuts to Creative Cutting Skills ABC Cutting Graduation, Layered Cutting, etc.	Semester 4 Salon Apprenticeship (Wages offered)
